If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you. We are an industry-leading Engineering firm seeking an experienced Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities :

As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, you will :

1. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all equipment and machinery to ensure optimal functionality and longevity.

2. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

3. Program and troubleshoot PLC systems to ensure efficient machine operation.

4. Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to perform repairs and maintenance.

5. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

6. Operate machinery as needed, including welding equipment.

7. Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

8. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors about equipment issues and maintenance schedules.

9. Continually update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Maintenance Technician position will have :

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Engineering industry.

2. Proven experience with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

3. Strong mechanical and electrical skills.

4. Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

5. Proficiency in PLC programming.

6. Welding skills and experience.

7. Experience operating a variety of machines and tools.

8. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

9. Knowledge of and commitment to adhering to safety procedures.

10. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

11. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

12. A relevant certification or diploma is preferred.
