Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician with a knack for solving complex problems? Do you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you can put your technical skills to the test? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you. We are an industry-leading Engineering firm seeking an experienced Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive compensation and benefits.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Permanent Maintenance Technician, you will
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all equipment and machinery to ensure optimal functionality and longevity.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Program and troubleshoot PLC systems to ensure efficient machine operation.
- Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to perform repairs and maintenance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Operate machinery as needed, including welding equipment.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors about equipment issues and maintenance schedules.
- Continually update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Engineering industry.
- Proven experience with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in PLC programming.
- Welding skills and experience.
- Experience operating a variety of machines and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Knowledge of and commitment to adhering to safety procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A relevant certification or diploma is preferred.
