Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, International Management, or a related Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial); • 15 years of experience using standard suite of Microsoft Office software products that must include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project; • 10 years of experience in the commercial seating aviation industry or within a comparable technical and regulated industry (aerospace, automotive, manufacturing); • 10 years of experience working with multi-level departments (for example: supply chain, purchasing, engineering, program management, and quality) in a build and manufacturing environment; • 10 years of experience working in the aircraft interiors business market and with related products, including handling discussions in technical areas of commercial seating for the aviation industry; • 7 years of Program/Product Management or Engineering experience; • 5 years of experience in New Product Introduction; • 5 years of experience in Phased Gateways; • 5 years of experience serving in an effective and motivational leadership role; • 5 years of experience communicating with teams for project strategy and completion, including peer level and senior level peers; • 5 years of training experience, including training managers to be effective leaders; • 5 years of experience negotiating contracts from inception to approval and working in an adversarial business environment; • 5 years of experience developing resources and requirement plans that align with company product strategy; and • 5 years of experience in an environment that requires a strong work ethic, independent work setting and self-motivation for optimal work performance. • Work location: Hybrid with 2 days a week remote available, other work days onsite at the Gainesville, TX office location. Must reside within commuting distance from employer's Gainesville, TX office. • Requires up to 20% domestic and international travel. • Experience may be gained concurrently.Full Time
