Country Farms is family-owned garden center and landscape installer for 40 years located in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. As an excavator operator you will:

• Operating heavy equipment
• Communicate effectively with owner and other crew members
• Maintaining machinery
• Work efficiently as an individual and team to ensure job is completed in timely manner
• Self-motivator
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including job sites, vehicles, and equipment
• Filling out paperwork
• Conforming to safety regulations

Job Requirements and Skills:

• One year’s experience of operator & driver preferred
• Weekends will be required
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have a PA Driver’s License

Physical Requirements:

• Must have high energy and physical endurance
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs

Work Environment:

• Hours will range from 40 to 50 hours per work week
• Poor weather may prevent work for the day
• Will be exposed to various weather conditions; wet, humid, hot, cold, snow, or sleet can occur
• Employee may be exposed to homeowner’s pets

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
