Expected pay for this position is $35.33 - $46.24/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: The MRI Technologist cares for patients while operating equipment to produce high quality images for radiologist interpretation. In addition, the MRI Technologist is responsible for EMR/PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information and executing proper imaging protocol/technique for all examinations. Complies with all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care.
QualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma/ GED, Graduate from accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI accredited program. Must be ARRT eligible Experience: N/A Licensure/ Certification: BLS American Heart Association; ARRT (MR) Advanced certification in MRI or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) one year after hire if not currently registered. Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: N/A Experience: 2 years radiography experience. 1 year MRI experience. Licensure/ Certification: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R)) registered. Other Skills/ Knowledge: N/A
