Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process and ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and effectively. This is a key leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Monitor production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of products
- Train and mentor production staff on proper manufacturing techniques and procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and resolve any issues that may arise
- Conduct regular quality inspections to maintain product standards
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing principles
- Maintain accurate production records and reports
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing setting
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and basic math calculations
- Experience with quality inspection techniques and procedures
- Ability to fabricate and assemble components as needed
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
