Position Summary:
Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of the information and communication systems of the cooperative and ensure proper protocol and integration with other systems as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Education:
Associate degree in computer science or a related field is required. Bachelor’s degree in computer science is preferred. Continuing education in computer hardware and software applications preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of five years of prior experience in a computer science-related field is required.
Job Knowledge:
Must be able to maintain computers, servers, firewalls, NAS systems, and other related equipment. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Server, Azure, Microsoft Windows and various computer applications. Must have knowledge of communication and networking systems, protocols, and equipment.
Abilities and Skills:
Working Environment:
This position requires working most of the time inside an office building with normal office conditions. Must have ability to perform repetitive motions and possession of manual dexterity for duties such as dialing and keyboarding. Must be able to lift/move 25 pounds or more, as necessary without external assistance of personnel or mechanical aids.
