Enchanted Rock Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide essential medical care and support to patients in various healthcare settings. Your primary responsibilities will include patient assessment, care planning, and implementation of nursing interventions.

Duties:
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans
- Assist with medical procedures and surgeries as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients

Skills:
- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation
- Experience in providing care for patients across the lifespan, including infants, toddlers, adults, and the elderly
- Knowledge of specialized care for patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments
- Strong patient assessment skills to identify changes in health status or potential complications
- Ability to triage patients based on acuity level and prioritize care accordingly
- Experience in medical-surgical nursing, including post-operative care and wound management
- Familiarity with sonography procedures and interpretation of results

Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in Texas
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- CPR certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
