Monocacy Start Center, Inc. is Hiring a Behavior Technician Near Frederick, MD

The Monocacy Start Center is looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. We help individuals with autism spectrum disorders make meaningful and lasting growth in their communication, social interaction, and functional behavior. We have immediate openings for Behavior Technicians to serve our clients in Frederick County. Behavior Technicians work under the direct supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Hours

This position is hourly and requires building up a caseload. Once the employee maintains 30 hours per week they may qualify to apply for full time employment.

Duties

Provide home and community-based individual support to children and adolescents

Opportunity to co-lead social skills groups

Qualifications

18 years of age or older

Willing to provide services in the home and community

Reliable form of transportation

Mobile internet access

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Able to get on and off the floor

Able to engage with physically active children

Must undergo state and federal background checks

Benefits

Paid professional training and supervision toward earning a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 – 30 per week
