Cashiers are responsible for the entire customer experience, from when the customer first come in to when they leave. Cashiers manage all monetary exchanges by taking orders and ringing up transactions: serve as a liaison between customers, managerial staff, and kitchen staff; package and deliver food to customers; and keep the front area of the restaurant clean and well stocked.
Duties and Responsibilities;
· Greet all customers politely when they enter the restaurant.
· Answer the phones in a professional and courteous manner; accurately take delivery and pick-up orders
· Take orders from walk-in customers
· Ensure orders are prepared as ordered prior to delivering to the customer
· Responsible for delivering food to the customer
· Responsible for bussing tables and ensuring dining room cleanliness
· Clean and Sanitize tables
· Clean Restroom
· Utilize suggestive selling to increase sales
· Ask Customers to sign up for our Rewards Program
· Listen to and resolve customer complaints, suggestions and inquiries.
· Thank customers as they are leaving
· Restock supplies
· Take money from customers and provide correct change.
· Process credit card and debit card transactions.
· Keep track of a cash drawer and ensure it is balanced at the end of the shift.
· Responsible for providing exceptional customer service to each and every customer.
· Work well in pressure situations.
· Maintain professionalism.
· Adhere to company standards, including personal hygiene and appearance.
· Adhere to health department codes regarding food sanitation and handling.
· Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications;
· Previous work experience with a POS is preferred.
· Food Handler’s card is preferred.
· Is able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
· Is able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50lbs.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $8.00 - $12.00 per hour
