Bee Sweet Citrus is Hiring a Senior Accountant Near Fowler, CA
- Analyze and adjust general ledgers. Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Budget preparation
- Report to management about asset utilization and audit results, and recommend changes in operations and financial activities.
- Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and use of accepted accounting procedures to record transactions.
- Review accounts for discrepancies and reconcile differences.
- Examine and evaluate financial and information systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
- Create detailed analysis of expenses compared to revenues
- Crosstrain with various accounting functions (A/P, Inventory, Payroll etc.)
- Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
- Work to ensure accuracy and collaborate with Accounting Team to streamline processes
- Prepare adjusting journal entries.
- Able to think and work independently, while achieving team oriented goals
- Proficient in spreadsheet software’s (Excel or Google Sheets)
- Strong understanding of financial statements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in public accounting or 3-4 years in the private sector is required
- CPA is preferred
- Audit experience is beneficial
- $100,000 - $135,000 annual salary
