Description:

Responsible for the engineering design, analysis and documentation of aerodynamic structures and mechanical systems & sub-assemblies. - Provide manufacturing support to fabricator and the installation/operations team. -Generate and review engineering drawings and technical reports - Develop and approve structural substantiation reports using empirical stress analysis, FEA, CFD, etc as necessary to support and validate the design. - - Develop and present design reviews with both internal and external customers. - Provide oversight and content to design/drafting operators. - Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports. -Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications. -Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications. - Research, design, and evaluate mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles. - Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation. - Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products, using drafting tools or computer-assisted design/drafting equipment and software.

Bachelors Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautics ABET - accredited institution. would look at a Mechanical Engineer with Aerospace Masters with experience
