Job Description

Link Solutions is seeking an IT Program Manager (Senior-Level) to join our team in Ft. Novosel, AL.

  • Must be a US Citizen 
  • Must possess a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

The IT Program Manager will assume comprehensive responsibility for the program’s operations, ensuring meticulous oversight of diverse functions such as technical and engineering support, cybersecurity measures, IT operations, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), telecommunications, and systems management. This role encompasses the facilitation of operations, maintenance, and enhancement of current and forthcoming governmental IT infrastructures. The incumbent will provide strategic leadership to our dedicated team and foster robust partnerships with our governmental clientele.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the technical program lead for all performance areas of delivery.
  • Maintain overall responsibility for the delivery team.
  • Provide daily supervision and direction to personnel across all functional areas of delivery.
  • Manage, coordinate, and track work across all functional areas of delivery.
  • Plan and implement large-scale projects with no impact on daily operations.
  • Serve as the senior technical subject matter expert across all functional performance areas.
  • Analyze and propose ideas, suggestions, and improvements relating to customer support.
  • Review and evaluate personnel work and prepare performance reports.

Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen. 
  • DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Management experience in the IT field (Combined technical and project).
  • Experience as a Project Manager in an IT Enterprise Management and help desk-centric environment.
  • Experience in information technology that includes areas such as desktop hardware, operating systems, office productivity software, computer networking-Local Area Network (LAN) /Wide Area Network (WAN), servers, SharePoint, virtual machines, and video teleconferencing.

Preferred:

  • Program Management Plus (PMP) certification or Certified Associate Project Manager.
  • Experience providing DoD organizations with technical editing support.
  • Experience managing government programs.
  • Experience in scheduling, managing document reviews, and development of technical documents for the DoD.
  • Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
  • Knowledgeable in Army Network Enterprise Center operations.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.

This opportunity is contingent upon successful award and contract negotiation which is currently in process.
