The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• 5 years prior paralegal/administrative law office experience;
• Willingness to energetically and enthusiastically collaborate with attorney and other team members on case files;
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, meet deadlines as well as manage multiple projects simultaneously;
• Excellent writing, communication, and organization skills;

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

• Manage and input Tasks placed in case management softwarwe
• Send sample discovery to client prior to filing suit.
• Review incoming/outgoing pleadings; review with attorney to confirm if he has seen, discuss, and draft a response/process as instructed;
• Draft Pleadings; e-file same and process filed-marked docs by indexing and filing in Pleadings Index;
• Receive and save any incoming e-filed pleadings to appropriate file in dropbox;
• Meet with clients to draft answers to discovery;
• Scheduling and coordinating dates for depositions, hearings, mediations; meetings;
• Reminder calls to clients 1 week and 1 day before depositions, EUO’s, CME’s or other important dates
• Monitor all SOL’s and ensure lawsuit initiated and/or withdrawal notification
• Settlement - deposit check; verify balances; request reductions; request final liens; finalize Closing Statement; request invoice for advanced client costs; client sign Closing Statement; disbursementThis position is for an individual looking to be a member of our team, and who finds reward in focusing on client relations and helping ease the pain, suffering, confusion and frustration of those who have been injured through no fault of their own.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
