We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Business Manager in the Medical industry. This position is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and will be performed on a remote basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and directing the operations of our medical records department, and will need to have proficiency in a variety of software programs including Database, EO/IR systems, EHR System, Electronic Medical Record, and EMR (Electronic Medical Records).Responsibilities:• Overseeing the management and maintenance of all medical records and related documents.• Ensuring that all medical records are stored, retrieved, and disposed of in accordance with applicable regulations and standards.• Coordinating with other departments and staff to resolve issues related to medical records.• Implementing and maintaining a system for tracking subpoenas and other legal documents related to medical records.• Providing training and guidance to staff on the use of EMR systems and other related software.• Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies regarding the handling and storage of medical records.• Monitoring and analyzing the efficiency of the medical records system and making necessary adjustments to improve its performance.• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in medical records management.• Collaborating with IT staff to ensure the security and functionality of the medical records system.• Handling related administrative duties as required.
