LaweLawe Management Group is Hiring a Deputy Program Manager Near Fort Knox, KY

The Deputy Program Manager will have experience managing a large enterprise application support program. Responsible for planning and delivering contracted services according to the customer performance work statement, inclusive of leading Integrated Product Teams, governance and compliance of applications and systems, full range of development and sustainment activities of applications and systems, business intelligence support, data warehouse support, data administration support, and system analysis activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Secret Clearance required.
  • Experience working in the Defense Acquisition environment.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience managing complex IT projects / operations / systems /applications with 75-180 employees, inclusive of a broad range of technical labor categories within an Agile development environment, to support the ongoing sustainment and development of enterprise applications.
  • Ability to act as the Program Manager in the PMs absence.
  • Expert understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle, able to lead and manage 12-20 Agile development teams supporting separate applications with several stakeholders.
  • Developmentof all tasks and activities from a sustainment requirement to successful Production deployment. Teams include IT Systems Solution Architects, Software Engineers, QA managers, Delivery managers, Database Analysts, Technical Editors, Information Assurance Engineers, and others.
  • Full understanding of cloud migration process and planning for enterprise level applications.
  • Full understanding of the DoD Authority to Operate (ATO) process.
  • Ability to implement innovative approaches to fulfilling requirements to improve services or cut costs through the use of current technologies.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills that enable the candidate to interface at high levels of civilian and uniformed DoD leadership, exceeding customer expectations for delivery of superior service.
  • Must create immediate credibility with acquired expertise and proven ability to accomplish the objectives of a large and high visibility program, with the full range of complexity and demands supporting one the of the largest components of the DoD.
  • Experience in leadership of complex tasks, including review of work products for correctness, compliance with industry best practices, DOD standards, and military standards.
  • Experience translating contract requirements into project plans and milestones, directing and implementing plans, and presenting formal project status/plan briefings to Government managers.

Desired qualifications:

  • Possess a project management certification such as Project Management Program (PMP) or equivalent Government certification.
