**Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care. **Duties:** - Prepare patients for dental procedures - Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment - Take and develop dental X-rays - Educate patients on proper dental hygiene practices - Maintain accurate patient records - Ensure the dental operatory is clean and well-stocked - Schedule patient appointments - Perform infection control procedures **Qualifications:** - Completion of an accredited dental assistant program - X-Ray certification preferred - Knowledge of medical coding and terminology - Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is a plus - Understanding of HIPAA regulations - Ability to perform patient assessments and take vital signs - Experience in pediatric dentistry is advantageous - Previous work as a dental receptionist would be beneficial - Strong skills in infection control practices Joining our team offers competitive pay, opportunities for professional growth, and a supportive work environment.
