DENTAL ASSISTANT-Fort Collins,CO

Dr. Michael Murphy’s attention to detail, ethical care, and great sense of humor make this position available to serious eager dental assistants desiring a career in an up-to-date technology, an educated practice that specializes in all areas of dental care. We are a small one-doctor, 6 ops office who believe passionately it is our role as providers to provide all options and the ultimate top-of-the-line dental care. Dr. Murphy specializes in many areas; he is a huge advocate for preventative care offering lots of options to our patients. Dr. Murphy does a variety of types of procedures and dental care from restorative, implants, TMJ-Botox, strict periodontal disease assessment and protocol, cosmetic dental care including Teeth Whitening, Dental Veneers, Crowns & Bridge, Pediatric Dentistry, Juvaderm, laser therapy/treatment and is excited to learn more about the breathing/sleep assessments dental providers will be mandated by law to provide.

To A Qualified Candidate, We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience/ room to grow in your career
  • Monday - Thursday work week (17 days a month) occasional Fridays (8am-1pm) if needed to meet 17 days

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication & listening skills and teamwork mentality
  • Must be dependable and be able to handle a variety of tasks
  • Must work well in a team but be self-reliant as well
  • Dental Assistant license preferred
  • X-ray certification ideal
  • Nitrous certification preferred
  • Dentrix experience a plus

Duties of the position:

  • Ability to assist the dentist with procedures
  • Maintaining patient treatment notes
  • Organizing patient treatment plans accurately for front to present accurate estimates
  • Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining instruments
  • Maintain office inventory of supplies
