Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Assembly: Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and schematics.
- Quality Control: Perform quality checks during the assembly process to ensure that each product meets our quality and safety standards.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve assembly issues and mechanical problems efficiently to maintain production timelines.
- Testing and Calibration: Conduct functional tests and calibration of equipment to ensure it meets performance specifications.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, including parts used, test results, and any issues encountered.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and other assemblers, to achieve production goals and resolve technical challenges.
- Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical assembly is a plus.
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in a manufacturing or food equipment industry.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
