Little Ones Learning Center is Hiring an Early Childhood Educator Near Forest, GA

Little Ones Learning Center is a three star Quality Rated and NAEYC accredited center.

This position is only offered to a preschool teacher who will work with three-year-olds. You MUST have a PDS registry or be willing to quickly obtain one, be leveled, and be willing to subscribe to Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS). Only highly efficient team players should apply for this position. If selected for an interview, it is highly encouraged to research our company. Committed self-starters are strongly desired. We are looking for teachers who will be committed and have consistent employment with our company.

Position: Teachers should be familiar with or be willing to learn how to use the Creative Curriculum.

Serious candidates only. We are a NAEYC and Quality Rated center. If you are not willing to meet high expectations or are not willing to work to meet those expectations, please do not apply. We work as a team and do what we must for the betterment of the families of our center. Weekday and occasional weekend training is required.

Qualifications: Must pass a successful criminal background check and drug test.Must be able to lift children up to 55 pounds. Friendly personality; must be able to relate well to both children and adults. Must be flexible. Must be willing to fulfill his/her responsibilities in accordance with Little Ones Learning Center and Bright From The Start, Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning philosophy, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities: The teacher will prepare and implement the weekly lesson plans using the Creative Curriculum. Plan developmentally appropriate activities for the children in conjunction with the assistant teacher. Arrange a plan for an environment that best meets the individual child's developmental needs. Assist children with meeting and maintaining physical needs. Contribute equally in the housekeeping tasks. Attend all staff meetings and required or recommended training programs and conferences. Participate in professional organizations that work toward the improvement of early childhood education. Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

Physical Demands: The employee frequently lifts light to medium-weight objects. The ability to speak clearly is required. The ability to hear and understand at a normal conversational level is required. A full range of hand and finger motion is required.

You must be detail-oriented, provide thorough lesson plans and newsletters.

We are a NAEYC and Quality Rated center and prefer individuals who are familiar with working in accredited centers. We are seeking mature individuals who want to work in a team-centered environment to meet the needs of the center. Working well and building a professional relationship with peers and parents is a requirement.

Teachers are required to attend ongoing training, monthly evening staff meetings, and more.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $11.00 per hour
