Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated PreK Assistant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and creating a nurturing learning environment for young children.

Responsibilities:

• Classroom management: Helping to keep the classroom clean and organized
• Lesson planning: Assisting with the preparation of lesson plans and materials
• Classroom supervision: Maintaining the safety of children at all times
• Student support: Helping children with their personal hygiene, toileting, dressing, and diapering needs
• Activity planning: Helping to plan and implement educational activities, such as reading stories, art projects, and other creative activities
• Record keeping: Assisting the teacher with record keeping and other administrative tasks
• Communication: Engaging with parents to provide information regarding their children
• Observation: Observing children for developmental problems and other concerns, and passing this information on to the preschool teacher

Qualifications:
- CDA, TCC, or Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Previous experience working in a preschool setting
- Knowledge of child development theories and practices
- Familiarity with using Creative Curriculum
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
