Main Sail is Hiring an Engineering Technician Near Florida, NY

Main Sail is seeking Engineering Technicians to support a U.S. Space Force client responsible for developing transformative technologies aimed at the realization of the Spaceport of the Future (SOTF). This project is envisioned to expedite the digital transformation of USSF bi-coastal spaceport operations, augment launch operational efficiency and capacity, and promote standardization, thereby revolutionizing the delivery of launch services.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in mapping and inventorying range assets, and support sensor digitization assessments.
- Conduct setup and preliminary tests for digitization trials, collecting and documenting data.
- Aid in the installation, monitoring, and testing of pilot solutions, ensuring operational compliance.
- Compile technical documentation and prepare materials for stakeholder communications.
Required skills/qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher in Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of digitization processes and sensor technologies.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and technical documentation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Location: Combined remote with 50 percent travel and on-site at Patrick Space Force Base (FL)
Period: Jun 2024 - Nov 2025
