The Provider Liaison will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong Fee for Service relationships with targeted physician/practice referral source to increase and gain market share; to identify growth opportunities and develop strategies. The Provider Liaison will promote our ophthalmic services by cultivating relationships with referral sources, attending conferences and seminars, conducting presentations, and providing facility tours.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops and implements a weekly route/visit list.
• Builds and cultivates relationships with referral sources within an assigned geographic territory, emphasizing face-to-face contact to generate patient referrals.
• Manages relationships with existing referrals to facilitate repeat business and develop new referral relationships with physicians.
• Partners with appropriate team members to execute marketing plans, including social media branding, presence, advertising, special events, and community activities.
• Participates in the organization’s marketing education, ensuring knowledge of resources, and maintaining knowledge of competitor services.
• Provides facility tours and conducts presentations for potential referral sources.
• Represents our organization in community-related activities, attends seminars and conferences to promote the organization.
• Schedules, promotes and hosts Continuing Education (CE) Events on a quarterly basis per local market.
• Completes monthly provider ride-a-longs to introduce physician team to the community.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, marketing, business administration or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare experience and minimum of one (1) year of successful sales experience within a healthcare setting preferred.
