TITLE: Grounds Maintenance Worker
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma.
2. Experience in grounds maintenance.
3. Valid South Carolina Driver’s license.
4. Practices preventive maintenance of grounds equipment.
5. Demonstrated aptitude for successful completion of the performance responsibilities listed below.
REPORTS TO: General Maintenance Foreman
JOB GOAL: To maintain grounds in a clean, sanitary, and attractive condition, and perform preventive maintenance duties as needed.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Participates in the work of the grounds crew.
2. Assists with assigned duties and inspection of completed work.
3. Assists in checking grounds and playgrounds on a regular basis for safety purposes.
4. Assists with the maintenance and installation of outside playground equipment.
5. Assists with maintenance of the playing field and grounds of Memorial Stadium.
6. Participates in staff development for self-improvement.
7. Drives district vehicles as needed.
8. Other duties as requested.
