We are a small private-practice health-care provider specializing in hearing care for Florence and the surrounding areas. We're seeking a person who will be the perfect fit to join our team in our audiology practice located in Florence.

Requirements:
* Have one or more years' providing excellent customer service is important.
* High School diploma or equivalent.
* Proficient in basic computer skills: Microsoft Word, e-mail, and using the internet.
* Attention to details, double checks work, and excellent multi-tasking skills.

Preferences:
* Experience with a medical office management system is a plus, but not necessary.
* Experience in a medical office is a plus, but not required.
* Previous experience in hearing care isn't necessary. We'll train you and show you
what you'll need to know to communicate with patients effectively.
* Experience working with the elderly and/or in a health services related field is a plus.
* Letters of recommendation from prior employers are appreciated.

* Occasional travel to attend training conferences is required (airline travel, hotel stays),
generally 2 - 3 days which may include a Saturday and Sunday, once or twice a year.

Job Duties:
* Answer the phone.
* Weekly outbound calling.
* Provide assistance to walk-in customers.
* Create invoices, receive payments, record patient notes, maintain patient charts, and
schedule appointments.
* Interact with other employees to ensure outstanding customer service is delivered to
every one of our patients and their families.
* Create, edit, and mail letters to patients.
* Clean the office.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Days and Hours: 16 hours per week, Mondays and Thursdays from 8:00am-5:00pm.

Wage: Starts at $15.00 per hour, depending on experience
