Job Summary:
As a Lot Attendant at Honda of Fishers, you will be responsible for ensuring the organization, cleanliness, and overall appearance of the dealership lot. This is a fast-paced and customer service oriented role, where you will be interacting with both customers and other team members. You will play a key role in maintaining a positive and welcoming environment for our customers, as well as ensuring the smooth flow of operations for our sales and service departments.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a Full Time, hourly position in the auto industry. The compensation for this role will be commensurate with experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, retirement options, paid time off, and employee discounts on vehicle purchases and services.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot including the display of new and used vehicles, customer parking areas, and overall appearance of the lot
- Greet and assist customers as they arrive on the lot, directing them to the appropriate department or providing information as needed
- Keep track of inventory and assist with the movement and preparation of vehicles for sales and service
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as checking tire pressure and topping off fluids in vehicles on the lot
- Coordinate with sales and service departments to ensure smooth flow of vehicle movement and customer deliveries
- Help facilitate test drives for customers as needed
- Ensure all vehicles are properly labeled and priced
- Report any damage or maintenance issues on vehicles to management
- Maintain a positive and customer service oriented attitude at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain organization on the lot
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
