Robert Half is searching for a PC Technician to support a humanitarian aid organization based in Federal Way, WA. This candidate will be supporting Windows 11 migration project, responsible for deploying and updating machines. This position is a 10-month contract that could be extended or converted and is 100% Onsite. Job Duties: Ensure all necessary software is installed and users are connected to their OneDrive accounts.Prepare PCs for shipment, ensuring all devices meet company standards and specifications.Coordinate with the shipping and receiving team to manage the logistics of hardware distribution.Ship imaged PCs to employees and track the delivery process to ensure timely arrival.Manage the return process for old machines, ensuring they are received, wiped, and either recycled or refurbished.Work directly with employees to get their new PCs up and running.Assist with data migration, ensuring a smooth transition without touching personal files.Provide troubleshooting support and ensure all necessary configurations are in place.Maintain an inventory of seed hardware to ensure the project progresses smoothly.Refurbish returned machines, re-image them, and prepare them for redeployment.Follow a regular project checklist to ensure all tasks are completed on time and to standard.Manage a large-scale migration project involving 400-500 machines.Ensure compliance with company policies and security protocols throughout the imaging and deployment process.
