Dreamville Staffing is Hiring a Street Outreach Worker Near Fayetteville, NC
Looking for a qualified mental health professional who has experience with the intake of homeless/unsheltered individuals.
- The Street Outreach Worker will conduct homeless outreach via foot patrols to identify, engage and assist persons that are unsheltered homeless, living on the street, in encampments, abandoned buildings, or other unsheltered situations.
- The street outreach worker will include outreach to individuals that are unsheltered and may have a mental illness or substance use disorder.
- After locating persons in need of housing, they will navigate program participants to housing solutions appropriate to their level of need.
- Various approaches will be used to ultimately end the homelessness of clients including housing first interventions, rapid re-housing, and decreasing the length of stay on the street or in shelters.
- Prior experience dealing with homeless individuals, individuals who may have mental illness or substance us
Looking for someone who has experience with the intake of homeless/unsheltered population, as well as individuals who may have mental health or substance use disorder.
