CHILD CARE ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

JOB SUMMARY

Manages and assists the leadership team in all aspects of the Academy's operations, including human resources, marketing, enrollment, customer relations, financial systems, quality control, and physical facility.

Pay Range : $41,500 to $45,500

SOME ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Develops a strong working knowledge of Kiddie Academy® Philosophy, Mission, Core Values, Life Essentials curriculum, and programs to build the brand, relationships, and business.
• Assumes full responsibility for Academy management in the Director’s absence.
• Ensures compliance with all federal and state laws, as well as all Kiddie Academy® standard operating procedures.
• Assists in completing and submitting the required paperwork and record-keeping on a timely basis, and maintaining in an organized, up-to-date manner.
• Takes an active role in planning and participating in academy activities (staff meetings, training sessions, open houses).
• Performs all duties of Academy educator as needed. Accepts temporary work assignments as needed.
• Develops and maintains positive, professional working relationships with families and academy staff.
• Manages staff scheduling, recruitment efforts, interviews, and the hiring process.
• Manages enrollment inquiries, marketing, and Academy tours to increase enrollment.
• Assists in recognizing parental concerns, consulting with the director, and responding professionally to parents’ needs.
• Working knowledge of the academy budget and managing all resources effectively.
• Helps ensure that quality control of programs and education is sound and meets state and Kiddie Academy® requirements.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS :

• Candidate must have an Associate Degree or equivalent in Early Childhood Education and two or more years of experience working in a Licensed child care center.
• Candidate must have a Texas Director's License or be able to acquire a License within 180 days of employment.
