ENSAFE is Hiring an Environmental Project Manager Near Farmers, TX

For over 43 years EnSafe has provided regulatory compliance, site assessment, engineering, and remediation services for private industry and all levels of government. EnSafe has adeptly and concurrently executed hundreds of cleanups at military installations, Superfund sites, Airports, and other Commercial, Federal, and State sites.

What We Are Looking For:

A Project Manager who is driven to lead, mentor, and train junior staff. A manager who desires to work on a wide range of projects, in an environment that fosters creativity, and collaboration at all levels within a culture of support and professional growth. EnSafe emphasizes empowering staff to practice our profession passionately and without limitations. 

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Collaborating with a project team to support a variety of environmental assessment and remediation projects.
  • Overall Project management and assisting in establishing project-specific objectives.
  • Preparing project work plans, proposals, and technical reports
  • Interacting with clients and subcontractors
  • Overseeing site investigation activities (sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, indoor air, soil gas, stormwater, and drinking water)
  • Developing technical recommendations for site assessment and remediation activities
  • Mentoring/managing junior staff.
  • Work with senior EnSafe environmental compliance managers to provide support to clients across service lines.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing EnSafe clients through excellent quality of work, responsiveness, and service.

What You Will Need: 

  • Requires a BS (MS is a plus) in geology, engineering, biology, environmental science, or equivalent sciences.
  • Registered TX Engineer, (P.E.) or Geologist (P.G.). preferred
  • State and/or Federal contract experience is a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Texas Risk Reduction Program
  • Outstanding proficiency in Microsoft Programs including Word and Excel 
  • Staff management and supervisory experience and interest in mentoring and coaching.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills 
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and leadership skills
  • Ability to travel regionally (10-20%) with overnights.
  • HAZWOPER training and certification.
  • Ability to maintain a background clearance.
