Title: Quality Engineer (Banking)
Location: Farmers Branch, TX - Hybrid
Role Summary: We are on the lookout for a Quality Engineer who will be a guiding force for our team, ensuring the highest standards of quality in our software systems. This role requires a blend of leadership, technical expertise, and a methodical approach to testing and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor and provide direction to team members, fostering a culture of quality and performance.
- Collaborate with QA Analysts and Developers to secure comprehensive testing coverage and enhance system reliability and performance.
- Adhere to SDLC and PMLC protocols, contributing to scope assessment, risk, and cost analysis.
- Manage testing operations for current and forthcoming projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality benchmarks.
- Craft and execute strategic testing plans, addressing all necessary testing requirements.
- Validate test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures, ensuring database, software, and usability standards are met.
- Assure the technical accuracy and compliance of software documentation, mitigating potential risks.
- Maintain and update application documentation promptly and efficiently.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to support the team's objectives.
- Proven leadership experience in a technical environment.
- A solid background in software development.
- Proficiency with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CICD Pipeline processes.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
- Hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as Karate, Selenium, and QFaaS.
- Knowledge of programming in C# and experience with Angular framework.
