Job Responsibilities:

• Shooting and editing of photography/videography in line with Weir’s brand standards.
• Gathers video and still pictures for print and digital platforms.
• Produce, edit and publish content to our website following Weir’s design standards.
• In-person attendance is required.
• Help with design and execute room layouts for room shot photography and videography.
• Scout photography locations as needed.
• Shoot furniture stills showcasing the needed details.
• Maintain orderly file management and archiving procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Requirements:

• Can easily carry up to 50 pounds of equipment.
• Be able to squat, climb and be on the floor as required for the photo/video.
• Maintain and be responsible for multiple studios and studio equipment.
• Exceptional ability to operate digital editing tools and software.
• Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines, under pressure.
• Must be a self-starter .
• Proactive in preparing for future photography and video related projects.
• Experience working on collaborative team projects.
• Be open to feedback and last-minute changes.
• Be aware of and learn new photography/videography trends/methods that can benefit Weir’s.
• Strong preference for someone with graphic design skills.
• Solid understanding of lighting, flash, and audio.
• Advanced knowledge of photography and videography related software including, but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite programs.
• Thorough understanding of graphic related file extensions (.EPS, .TIF, .PSD, .PDF, .BMP, .JPEG, .GIF, .CR2, .XMP, etc.).
• Thorough understanding of color management, retouch, color correcting, transparency flattening, image linking, and appropriate photographic resolution sizes.

Education:

• Associates degree, preferably with a concentration in graphic communications/arts.
• A minimum of five years’ experience in photography and videography.
