Blaze, an innovative advertising and digital marketing agency,is seeking a Web Development Project Manager, to be based in their Falmouth, ME office. The Web Development Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of website projects and will work closely with clients, internal team members and external partners ensuring projects are complete on time, within budget and meet quality standards.

Requirements of the Web Development Project Manager:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent working experience.

· 2-4 years working experience in web development, web-based design and publishing, preferably in a web design firm, digital agency, or similar environment.

· Experience in WordPress, Shopify, BigCommerce, Drupal, Squarespace and other CMS platforms.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., Cornerstone, Elemantor, React, Angular, Vue, etc).

· Versed in UX and UI best practices is preferred.

· Knowledge of server-side languages such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby, database systems such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL, and/or cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

· Knowledge of marketing tracking tech, like ad platform pixels, tags, and/or ad tracking software, like Google Tag Manager, as well as Search Engine Optimization processes and best practices is a plus.

· Openness and curiosity; a genuine desire to learn about our clients’ businesses and remain current on industry trends.

· Ability to commute to Falmouth, ME daily, Monday through Thursday with Fridays being remote work from home.

Benefits of the Job:

· Annual pay in the range of $55,000 to $75,000

Responsibilities of the Web Development Project Manager:

· Coordinates all aspects of web projects, including project planning, resource allocation, and budget management with clients, vendor partners, and internal teams (including designers, developers, analysts and content creators) to ensure that project milestones are met, mitigate any risks that may impact project timelines or budgets, monitors and reports on project progress, and understands all web requirements to ensure that project deliverables meet expectations.

· Build and maintain smaller scale websites using UX and UI best practices. If needed, can develop, deploy and maintain software code (such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP) for these smaller scale websites.

· Installs, manages, integrates and customizes third party solutions to meet project requirements.

· Leads quality control efforts, including testing web functionality, proofreading copy against original designs to detect errors and inconsistencies, regularly review web content for problems, usability and validation testing of web projects.

· Assists in the production and maintenance of technical documentation for projects for the continual improvement of procedures for developing, deploying, and supporting Web-based solutions for clients.
