Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical or dental office settings and possess knowledge of medical administrative support tasks.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Maintain electronic medical records accurately and ensure patient confidentiality
- Coordinate with medical staff for patient care and scheduling
- Verify insurance information and process payments
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar role
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Experience with medical scheduling and handling ER situations is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to operate phone systems effectively
