BGC Search is Hiring an Accounting Manager Near Fairlawn, OH
BGC Search is looking to fill an Accounting Manager position with a growing client near Fairlawn, Ohio.
The Accounting Manager will have significant room for growth (into Corporate Controller down the road) and be a vital member of the Accounting & Finance team.
The Accounting Manager will assist in the monthly close process and ad-hoc technical accounting matters while leading a small team.
What you will do:
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly financial reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Act as the point of contact for external auditors.
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of the annual budget.
- Oversees the general ledger accounting functions at the corporate level.
- Identify and recommend areas to improve accounting functions.
- Ad-hoc projects as assigned by the Controller.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA license would be a plus but not required
- Experience working in a Manufacturing company preferred but not required
Job Type:
- Full-time
Compensation:
- $110,000-$130,000 USD depending on candidate experience
- Bonus
