Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist :
- Issue all direct deposits and pay card payments
- Enter all new employees into the system and make applicable changes to direct deposits and tax withholdings
- Balance payroll reports to ensure they match all hours and timesheet changes
- Enter hours for employees who use manual timesheets to record hours
- Set up all direct deposit accounts and pay cards
- Prepare payroll deductions and other tasks as needed
Preferred Qualifications of the Payroll Specialist :
- Experience using QuickBooks Accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Quick learner with a strong desire to learn
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Salary $50,000 - $60,000 depending on experience
