Robert Half is partnering with a growing company in the Professional Services industry who has an opening for a Payroll Clerk in the Fairhaven, Massachusetts area who will support the Payroll department in a variety of duties. The Payroll Clerk's responsibilities will include data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. The Payroll Clerk position is looking to be filled on a long-term contract / temporary to hire employment contract.How you will make an impact- Supply the organization with instructions/training regarding the use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc.- Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system- File, scan, fax, and perform other clerical duties as required- Make sure data entered into spreadsheets and the payroll system is accurate- Construct and run custom reports- Communicate with organization employees via a variety of channels to obtain approvals of timesheets- Distribute and administer reports as instructed
