Bally Keal Estate is Hiring a Cook I Near Fairfield, CA

We are seeking an experienced and talented Cook to join our winning team. As the Lead line cook , you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and food service . You will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and creativity under an Award winning Foodnetwork Chef. If you have a passion for the food industry and a strong background in hospitality, we invite you to apply. We are a Brand New innovative one of a kind Winery with beer and spirits, only 2 in the US that provide all this in a winery. You will be trained and work with an award winning talented Chef who brings the wow factor passion and inspires and motivates for greatness.

Duties:
- Help execute innovative menus that meet the needs and preferences of our guests pairing small bites with wine, beer and spirits
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality food production and service
- Oversee inventory control to minimize waste and maintain cost efficiency
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with front of the house management to develop strategies for improving overall dining tasting experience
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into menu offerings working with local farms and food products
- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of fresh ingredients

Requirements:
- self motivator with passion for excellence and love of food and wine
- Strong culinary skills with expertise in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
- Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of supervising and motivating kitchen staff
- In-depth knowledge of food industry regulations and best practices in food safety
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, management, and suppliers

Preferred Skills:
- Culinary experience
- Experience in innovative small bites

We offer competitive compensation based on experience.

Note: All positions must be paid including internship positions.
