HCI Integrated Solutions is Hiring a Remote Corporate HR Generalist (Remote)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Human Resource Generalist to join our team. Job Summary:The Corporate Human Resource Generalist is responsible for managing the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department within a government contracting environment. This role includes hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Duties And Responsibilities
  • Compliance Management: Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments, including safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
  • Recruitment: Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions. Collaborate with departmental managers to understand the skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Onboarding: Conduct onboarding, background checks, urinalysis, and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Employee Programs: Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • HR Administration: Perform routine tasks to administer and execute human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Inquiries Management: Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Disciplinary Actions: Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Legal Compliance: Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices. Review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Industry Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills And Abilities

  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now is required.
  • Experience in government contracting, Service Contract Act, and Collective Bargaining is required, with no exceptions.
Education And Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
