This is a full-time position based at CMC’s Headquarters in Franklin, TN!

Job Description:

CMC is looking for an Accounting Specialist to handle all things money-in and money-out. This includes creating and managing partner invoices, collecting payments, keeping track of active contracts and maintaining a business review document, managing credit cards and expense reports, cutting checks and managing vendor invoices and payments, running and maintaining CMC payroll, and appropriately documenting all CMC banking transactions.

Expect fast-paced working conditions. The ability to adapt to a changing environment, quickly grasp improvements to our current systems and processes, and the ability to provide and receive real-time feedback is critical.

Requirements: 

•  Proven ability to stay extremely detailed and organized
• Must have confirmed experience handling confidential information and being trusted with said information
• Comprehensive understanding of QuickBooks Online
• Experience submitting or reviewing Concur expense reports
• Previous experience working with a payroll platform
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with different personalities
• A keen understanding of the importance of follow-ups
• Proven ability to prioritize appropriately and work with a sense of urgency while minimizing errors and maximizing efficiencies
• Must be excellent in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
• Proven ability to positively manage major and minor changes and quickly adapt to said changes or procedural updates
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively and approach problems in a solution-oriented manner.
• The ability to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines
• Comprehensive understanding of Google Drive.
• Ability to maintain emotional control and demonstrate exceptional self-awareness.
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve and troubleshoot common and uncommon obstacles through ingenuity, creative and critical thinking.
• Demonstrated ability to expertly manage time including professional workload and calendar.
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent written and verbal communication.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance

Nice to have:

• Specific experience working with Inova payroll
• Experience using the admin tools in within Concur
• Examples of aesthetically pleasing PowerPoints, Word Docs, or Excel Docs.
