Walther Arms, Inc. is Hiring a Coating Technician (Weekend - 3 Day - 12 Hour Shifts) Near Fort Smith, AR
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and operate the sand blaster, wash station, and build fixtures for all parts before coating.
- Ensure all components are re-packaged for production or customers.
- Responsible for facility/equipment cleanliness, readiness and may be assigned additional duties as required.
- Able to perform full scope of activities associated with job which include the most difficult aspects.
- Able to train new employees on all processes.
- Able to perform the internal coating chamber preventative maintenance.
- Has a general working knowledge of the coating industry, including other coating concepts and equipment.
- Participates in necessary training including traveling for additional training as required
- Other duties as directed by the Production Manager or Coating Specialist.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Physical demands and ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Must have good hand and eye coordination with high degree of attention to detail.
- Lifting on occasion up to 50 pounds.
- Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office, Excel.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and operational knowledge of sand blaster, wash station, and other hand tools.
Hours are Friday - Sunday from 6:00am - 6:00pm
Work 36 hours, paid for 40!
