Actalent is hiring for a Cardiac Sonographer
Kick start your career in Healthcare! Actalent is looking for a full-time Cardiac Sonographer to support our client, a local leading Healthcare organization, onsite in Fishersville, Virginia.
Job Respinsibilities
- Performs echocardiogram testing per physician order, adhering to established departmental policy and procedure.
- Incumbent uses and maintains equipment per departmental policy and procedure, to ensure test quality, patient safety, and to prevent downtime interference with service provision.
- Looking at blood flow, valve function, and chamber size to determine the overall condition of the heart.
- Assisting physicians in the diagnosis of patients with heart conditions.
Qualifications
- Must have completed an accredited cardiac sonographer program
- RDCS or RCS or the ability to obtain registry within 12 months of employment from an accredited sonography program
- BLS required
Shift: 8-4pm or 7-3pm Monday-Friday OR a 4x10 option from Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Sunday.
