As a Sales Support Specialist, you will be the prime point of contact with our distribution partners.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Fielding inquiries for product information, pricing, availability, and delivery
• Order intake
• Initial contract review and order entry into ERP system
• Issuing order acknowledgements
• Updating customers as required on order status, deliveries, etc.
• Resolving customer concerns.

Candidates should have:

• 2 years of experience in a similar technical sales/customer service role, demonstrating a strong customer focus, service orientation, and technical aptitude.
• Proven skills in oral and written communication, MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, etc.), ERP systems (order entry, acknowledgments, order status, and invoicing), work organization, task prioritization, problem solving, contact documentation, and follow up.
• The ability to work effectively with a broad range of personalities (including difficult customers), while projecting a positive, respectful approach (even under duress).
• High adaptability and flexibility.

Preferred attributes include:

• Knowledge of the instrumentation & tube fitting and valve industries, including target markets, distribution channels, related machining and manufacturing processes, and order intake within an ISO 900t1-registered environment.
• An Associate degree in a related discipline (Marketing, Business Administration, or Mechanical Engineering Technology).
