Job Purpose:The Senior Graphic Designer will spearhead our creative design initiatives, advancing the Hy-Tek brand’s visual identity through impactful design across various marketing materials and campaigns. Working directly with the Director of marketing and collaborating across the organization, you will translate strategic marketing objectives into compelling visual content that effectively communicates who we are, what we do and why you should partner with Hy-Tek Intralogistics. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their design skills across a range of print and digital media, be highly motivated, have excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while keeping strategy, user experience and purposeful design top of mind.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of visually compelling and on-brand designs for a wide range of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, infographics, digital ads, social media graphics, trade shows, and other promotional materials.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing Director, Sales Partners, and Business teams to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience, and translate them into impactful, on-brand designs.
- Develop and maintain a consistent visual identity and brand standards across all marketing materials.
- Stay up to date with design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies, and drive innovation in design approaches and techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of design elements across all customer touchpoints.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors and agencies, ensuring the successful execution of design projects.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform design decisions and strategies.
- Must work well under pressure; effectively handle tight deadlines, unexpected delays, revisions, miscellaneous requests and changing priorities.
- Candidate must possess excellent project management skills with attention to detail and ability to follow a project from concept through production with minimal supervision.
- Maintain organized files and assets, ensuring easy access and retrieval of design materials.
- Contribute to a culture that supports great creative through curiosity, exploration and innovation.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field. Or 3-5 years of proven experience as a Graphic Designer in a corporate marketing or agency setting.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including print and digital materials.
- Expert proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- In-depth understanding of typographical hierarchy design principles, color theory, and layout composition.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and adapt when priorities change and to work independently.
- Must be organized in art production and management and knowledge of best print practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality designs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team taking ownership of design projects from concept to completion.
- Occasional travel to attend trade shows.
- Working with computers for a long period of time
- Sitting and/or standing for long periods of time.
- Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 20 pounds.
