**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial report interpretation, account reconciliation, and account analysis. Knowledge of LIHTC, PeopleSoft, and tax is a plus. **Duties:** - Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations - Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures - Perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledger accounts - Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations **Experience:** - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or related field - Proficiency in accounting software such as PeopleSoft - Strong knowledge of account reconciliation, accounts receivable, and tax regulations - Experience with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) is preferred - Previous experience in public accounting is a plus - Ability to mentor junior staff members This position offers a competitive salary based on experience level.
