PBF Hospitality LLC is Hiring an Unarmed Security Guard Near Erie, PA
We are now accepting applications for Unarmed Security Officer positions to become part of our team for both full-time and part-time guards. The selected individual(s) will patrol and secure assigned premises, complete security checklists and incident reports, communicate with the necessary authorities and other staff members, and complete light cleaning/maintenance tasks as requested by management; as well as identify risks to staff and patrons.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
- Be prepared to follow the necessary actions such as verbal warnings, eviction off premises, or contacting of local police authorities in the case of illegal behavior or infraction of hotel rules and policies.
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security of all hotel guest rooms, grounds, and public areas on property.
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations.
- Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
- Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes.
- Request emergency personnel for high risk situations.
- Successfully use the provided software to annotate events that occur during shift.
- Make regular trips around the property and scan the pre-determined points as directed by management.
- Work as part of a team.
- Communicate effectively with front desk staff
- Complete all paperwork and reports as directed.
- Perform any other tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, or other related fields
- Familiarity with security equipment and surveillance equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong attention to detail
- People skills and the ability to handle confrontation in a positive and calm manner to properly de-escalate potential issues and guest complaints or safety risks.
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work holidays/weekends upon occasion
Hours: 10PM-6AM (3rd Shift)
Pay rate based upon experience/education. Possible increase after 90 day probationary period. Probationary period based on attendance and performance.
All candidates must pass a drug screen and background check
