HCF MANAGEMENT is Hiring a Recruiter Near Erie, PA

This position will focus on creating an applicant pipeline for multiple Care Communities by building community relationships and managing multiple media accounts. Sales and Marketing professionals are encouraged to apply. Long-term care experience is preferred, but not required. 
This position will support 7 locations spanning from Erie to Coudersport with some support in the Greensburg market. This is not a fully remote position, so local candidates only, will be considered.

Position Summary:

Responsible for full life-cyclerecruiting—recruiting, screening and recommending placement of staff by usingcreative sourcing methods (internal and external).

Essential Functions:

Position Responsibilities:

  • Must follow HCF Policies and Procedures
  • Builds and maintains positive internal customerrelations
  • Develops recruitment strategies to achieverequired staffing levels.
  • Meets/communicates with facility hiring managersto develop specific recruiting plans.
  • Develops advertising programs (internal andexternal) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
  • Develops and maintains professionalrelationships with college, university, and community college placement officesas a source to generate qualified applicants.
  • Directs the efforts of employment agencies andsearch firms, including negotiating and controlling employment-related fees.
  • Schedules and attends job/career fairs andprofessional conferences with appropriate staff to generate qualifiedapplicants.
  • Provides information on company operations andjob opportunities to potential applicants.
  • Screens and refers qualified applicants tohiring managers for interviewing. May provide initial screening to obtain workhistory, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements.
  • Manages current candidate activity in theapplicant tracking system.
  • Develops and conducts training programs formanagers with a goal of improving recruiting and hiring efficiencies andreducing turnover.
  • Researches, analyzes, prepares, and presentshiring statistics.
  • Participates in development of annual recruitingbudget.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and abilities:

  • Prior Recruiting experience preferred. Minimumof Associate’s Degree in Human Resources and/or similar education or relatedexperience. Current, unrestricteddriver’s license required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • No direct supervisoryresponsibilities.

Personal Appearance:

  • You must keep yourself neat, clean and wellgroomed. Must wear appropriate business attire and ensure its neatness andcleanliness. Must wear identification name badge.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • The physical demands and work environmentdescribed here are representative of those that must be met by an employee tosuccessfully meet the essential functionsof the job. Must be in good physicalcondition as the position requires the ability to stand on one’s feetthroughout the day, as well as, push, pull, move and/or lift repetitively aminimum of 10 pounds up to greater than 50 pounds occasionally.
