OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Blanchard Grinder Operator to join our team at our facility in Erie, MI. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC Grinder, CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC), and Surface Grinder machines, with a focus on Blanchard equipment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Blanchard grinding machines to grind surfaces of metal workpieces to specifications
- Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet required tolerances
- Adjust machine settings to control factors such as depth of cut, speed, and feed rates
- Inspect and measure workpieces to verify conformance to specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Experience operating CNC Grinder, CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC), and Surface Grinder machines
- Proficient in setting up and adjusting machine settings
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Good communication and teamwork skills
