CBTS has partnered with a client in the Enon, OH area to identify a SQL Server Developer on a 9 month contract opportunity. The role will require a hybrid-based schedule of 3 days/wk onsite at the client's facility. Candidates must be eligible for W2 work at this time (no C2c is allowed on this opportunity).
Main skills:
• 5 years of SQL Developer experience and supporting in-house applications in a deadline driven environment
• SQL Server 2008 experience required
• SSIS and SSRS experience
• Database tuning
• Previous experience developing in Retail Services
• Follow database development standards for Microsoft enterprise and application databases
For this role, the candidate will be developing SQL code to extract items from the legacy back office system to migrate client to a new back office system.
• Analyzes, reviews and alters programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements; writes or designs new programs
• Collaborates with internal and external partners to ensure customer needs are met by reviewing requirements
• Reviews project requirements and develops design solutions; documents
• Oversees unit and integration testing of solutions; makes recommendations accordingly
• Writes documentation ro describe program development, logic coding and corrections
• Performs analysis related to software design, development and testing
• Maintains positive working relationships with internal and external partners
• Works with team lead to monitor project progess and provide status updates
• Identifies and implements/recommends corrective action if the project goes of schedule
• Knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP)
• Completes other duties, including special project, and after hour support, as assigned by Management
