A hospital in Emmett, ID is looking for a Med Surg/Telemetry RN.
*Requirements:*
Must have 2 years experience.
BLS, and ACLS required.
Must obtain PALS and NRP within 2 weeks of start (can be done during onboarding)
Must RN License in Idaho, or a compact state
_Previous Travel Experience is Preferred_
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital standards. Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and administer medications as prescribed
- Monitor and manage tube feeding for patients as needed
- Take and record vital signs accurately
- Provide primary care to patients in the Medical/Surgical unit
- Adhere to hospital standards and protocols for patient care
- Assist with coding and documentation of patient information
- Lift and transfer patients safely when necessary
- Catheterize patients as required
- Familiarity with medical imaging procedures
Experience:
- Proven experience working in a hospital or medical setting
- Ability to perform venipuncture, tube feeding, and vital sign monitoring
- Knowledge of primary care practices and procedures
- Familiarity with coding and documentation standards
- Proficient in lifting and transferring patients safely
- Experience in catheterization procedures is a plus
